She’s A Spooky Gurl! OTA x TENz Halloween Edition made it’s return to 3 Dollar Bill with Ballroom’s Legends, Statements, Stars along with some ghouls and goblins for a packed night of costumes, categories, and fierce competition.
The pre-show, hosted by Madame 007 kicked off with Best Sexy Costume for a $300 prize and $500 for Best Halloween Costume for a $500 prize. Before the main categories began, the crowd enjoyed performances from special guests RuPaul’s Drag Rae alumni AJA, Montrose Tyler, and Swinderella.
Categories kicked off with Icon Kevin JZ Prodigy & Legendary Snookie West and beats by Legendary DJ Byrell The Great.
The night’s mandatory costume rule across all categories—including Hand Performance, Runway, Realness ensured a consistently high level of theatricality and spectacle.
Competition was intense, particularly for the main category Vogue Performance for $1500
Again, the OTA x TENZ Halloween Edition proved to be a major highlight of the season for the New York ballroom scene, fusing the spirit of competition with the fun and macabre creativity of Halloween.
